No Spec Policy

I choose not to engage in speculative work.

• It provides no guarantee of compensation for my time or ideas.
• It takes time away from paying projects.
• It undermines the relationship between myself and my client.
• And, without a contract, I am not a member of your team. I can't
  do my best work without open discussion.

I would much prefer to sit down with you and discuss your project. If
your budget is tight, let's work together to find cost effective options.
But, please, don't ask me to work for you on spec. Neither of us will
get what we deserve.

Any information I collect from you will strictly be used for internal
purposes only. Your information will never be sold or provided to a
third party.

Project Fee vs. Hourly Rate

I do not have an hourly rate. I charge a flat fee for each project.

Each project is different. My fees are based on the particulars of your project.

If the scope of the project changes, we will discuss adjustments to the project fee. If the scope decreases, the fee will be reduced. If the scope increases, additional fees will be charged. You will always know the total cost of your project.
